Dr. Stefan has been a practicing diabetologist in Esslingen since 2010. Studied medicine in Tübingen, trained as a diabetologist at the Bürgerhospital Stuttgart, where he was senior physician until the end of 2003. He is a member of Deutsche Diabetes Gesellschaft DDG, National guideline committee “Therapie des Typ 1 Diabetes” (since 2011), National guideline committee „Diabetes im Alter“ (2014), Arbeitsgemeinschaft Diabetologie Baden-Württemberg ADBW (vice president), EASD, ADA, American Heart Association ADA, The Endocrine Society
